THIS WEEK
  • Scholastic Book Fair: Students may bring in money to shop at the book fair Wednesday with their class or Friday with their grandparents
  • Literature: We completed the novel "Where the Red Fern Grows" (there were many cryers last week!!)  I love reading this novel with my students, they always love the dogs and there are great faith connections.  We will be testing over this novel Tuesday and watching the movie Wednesday & Thursday
  • Grandparents' Day: I am so happy to see all the grandparents' signed up to come to school Friday.  The book fair will be open all day, grandparents will be welcomed in the church basement then dismissed to come to the classrooms.  The Jr. high teachers will have fun and interactive activities running in their classrooms.  Chapel will begin at 10:30 and will be led by the 7th graders who will be practicing all week to lead worship.  You are welcome to join our worship service!
  • Lunch: Wednesday and Thursday we will be eating lunch in our classrooms due to the book fair being set up in the commons this year.  Hot lunch IS AVAILABLE these days.
  • Art: Information was sent home Friday regarding a Lenten art project using kitchen matchsticks.  Please ask your child if they have not already informed you about this project.
