Creativity in Quarter #2

Exciting events have taken place in 7P during the last few weeks as we grow into the second quarter of 7th grade.

Students were able to shine while celebrating Red Ribbon Week with fun dress-days as a reminder to stay drug and alcohol free!
Leadership was shown as students worked toward creating out class door decoration for the anual Red Ribbon Week Door Decorating Contest.
We received a consolation prize for the Jr. High building -- GREAT WORK 7P!!
Proud to be a drug free class!!
Our "Story of Joseph" skits were a hit --- Students were challenged with writing a script to tell a portion of the Joseph story from Genesis.  Creativity flourished with props and acting while sending the message of staying faithful to our God who has a plan for us.
Reviewing for a Literature vocabulary test came easy for some and more difficult for others :)  Thankfully the test isn't until tomorrow!

Wrapping Up Quarter 1

As we wrap up assignments, tests, and projects for the first quarter I am pleased to reflect on the achievements of our 7th grade class.  Let's carry the dedication through the upcoming second quarter!

The Jr. High students had a BLAST at the walk-a-thon last Friday.  We walked/ran almost 500 miles, way-to-go Bobcats!!  Madelynn (6R) broke our school record and ran 10 miles, that's 30 laps!  The money we raise through pledges will help us support Lutheran World Relief -- Baby Care Kits later in November and December.
Blessings on your weekend -- Enjoy the beautiful SUNSHINE :)
