Week 2

The 7th graders (and teachers) made it through the first full week of school, yay!!  Students have jumped into their school work with two feet :)  They seem to be getting comfortable with their schedule and remembering to bring their materials to each class.

Thank you to all the parents I got to talk with at Back to School Night.  To those who could not make it, we missed you!  Your child should have brought a packet of information home to you; you can also view my Prezi (presentation) using the link below.

Please remember to log into your Sycamore Education account to check the school news, calendar, and grades.

Student Council elections will be Thursday (officers) & Friday (class representatives) this coming week.  Campaign posters are looking very persuasive!!

Blessings on your week ahead,

Welcome to the 2015-2016 School Year

Zion Students and Teachers are EXCITED about this school year!

Welcome to our class blog!  I will (try to) post every Friday with fun happenings from the week and important information about upcoming events.

I am extremely happy with how the 7th graders have transitioned into this school year.  They have been great listeners, direction followers, respectful, and full of contagious laughter.  I hope this continues as they dive into each class.  I think they are enjoying having so many different teachers throughout their day.  Organization is going to be key in their success as they travel from room to room.  I have faith they will conquer this challenge!  I am very excited to get to know each of my students; there are many bold and unique personalities that will make this school year lots of fun.
