Math: Students will begin using a new Math curriculum, continuing to build on what they have learned in years past.  Math is an important skill to learn and will be used in High School, College, and adulthood.

English/Spelling: Students will continue to build their knowledge of the English language through diagramming sentences and challenge their spelling every week.  This will prepare students to apply their knowledge in their writing.

Science: Students will learn about the world around them answering the questions of What? How? and Why?  God's creation is beautiful, let's learn more about it!!

World History:  Students will travel the world to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Central America learning about life and culture long ago.  They will have fun comparing different cultures to their own lives in 21st century America.

Literature:  Students will continue developing their reading skills through Fiction, Nonfiction, Short Stories, Drama, and Novels.  7th grade focuses heavily on vocabulary and literary terms.  We will read both "Where the Red Fern Grows" and "The Outsiders."  Accelerated Reader continues to be a part of our Literature curriculum; 18 points are needed to be earned each quarter.

Art:  Students will learn the 7 elements of art and see how they are applied to their own masterpieces.  We will take a look at some famous artists along the way learning different techniques.
