Spring in 7th Grade

Here is an update on some 7th grade activities:
 Helping the Kindergarteners address envelopes

Beautiful stained-glass windows based on favorite Bible stories; can you guess what stories these represent?

This art project is a 7th grade favorite - Matchstick Crosses

Our religion class lessons lead us to an in-depth discussion of temptations we face and how God gives us strength to make good choices.  We wrote our temptations on paper, crumpled them up and had a "war" trying to get rid of as many temptations as possible.  Then we hung them up in the shape of a cross to remind us we are saved by Jesus death and resurrection!

Studying the era of Samurai in Japan: We learned what it took to train to be a Samurai...yes, that is a tub of real snow!
