Final Weeks

Jefferson City Pictures
  • My last posting has all the pictures from our trip to Jefferson City.  Thank you to the chaperones who came with and captured some great moments!
Sycamore/Grades:
  • Something strange happened on Sycamore yesterday (5/12) as I was updating some grades.  If you saw a major drop in your child's Literature grade this is incorrect and it should be back to the correct grade now.  I am sorry for any concern/worry this caused.
Last Weeks of Work:
  • MO Constitution test tomorrow (5/13 Eeeek Friday the 13th!)
  • I'm sure other classes will be having final tests these last weeks of school, keep up the strong study habits!
  • AR points due date has been extended to Friday 5/20
  • Book Trailer Project due Friday 5/20
    • Students will be creating book trailers using iMovie to promote one of their favorite books.
    • I hope this is a fun project to finish out the year and encourage reading over the summer.
Positivity:
  • The last two weeks have been filled with positive attitudes and growth in the classroom.  I see students holding each other accountable and being engaged in lesson activities.
  • Also, if you haven't met Russell here he is celebrating Drew's birthday!  Russell has become our class pet and has traveled to Jefferson City, track meets, and had many more adventures :)
  • Students enjoyed the "Hollywood" Jr. High dance last Friday hosted by STUCO.  I was able to catch one picture.
