Weather: We are being hit by the effects of hurricane Isaac.... It’s wet and humid!
Comics of the week: Whoopi Goldberg becomes a nun & Scott shows off his duck face.
Learning Lane:
- In World History we learned about the Roman art and architecture, including the aqueducts that changed the world.
- In Math we kicked off with a review week...... We learned about the multiplicative identity. We also learned about bow ties and mustaches.
- In English we are learning about concrete and abstract nouns. We are also learning about collective and compound nouns.
- In Literature we learned a lot of literary terms and read a couple stories.
- In Spanish we preformed a conversation with partners. We also started our class Rosetta Stone lesson.
- In Science we are learning about classification and words like taxonomic keys and binomial nomenclature.
- We created a beautiful color wheel only using the 3 primary colors (RED, BLUE, and YELLOW for those of you who don't know what they are)
- Mrs.Cluck's Point tally of the Week: IIII (4 in Roman Numerals)!!!! Good job Mrs.Cluck!
