Hoops & Jump Rope for Heart

The 7th and 8th graders enjoyed participating in our anual Hoops & Jump Rope for Heart event Wednesday.  We raised $845 that will be donated to the American HEART Association...Way to go!!  Many students enjoy wearing their "Saving a Life is a Real Sport" t-shirts all day before the event hosted by Mrs. Steinbauher.  We filled the gym with students jump roping, hula-hooping, playing helicopter, and knock-out.

February in 7th Grade

• Tuesday the 21st ---> Afternoon Band Clinic
• Wednesday the 22nd ---> Ash Wednesday
• Thursday the 23rd ---> LHS Play "Twisted Tales"
• STATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

We created beautiful stained glass windows in Religion class which have filled out classroom with brilliant colors!  Can you guess what Old Testament stories and messages are being depicted?

It's Friday with Principal Rutledge

What a fun Friday with a "Principal for the Day," Mr. Rutledge!!

We received a special afternoon of P.E. & Recess:

We learned about the Legislative Branch on "Constitution Friday."  We created 4 bills wich will move through the Genreal Assembly in hopes of becoming laws...we will see which ones make it through the voting and which ones get vetoed!
